"Not Knowing" | ||
| This is Harry. Harry doesn't know anything. Nothing at all. There is not one single thing that Harry can say he honestly "knows". All day long, he's asked things like: "Who you gonna vote for, Harry" "Who won the debate, Harry" "What d'ya think about the war, Harry?" Harry always shrugs and says, "I don't know." It's not lack of intelligence. He's informed. He watches tv and he reads the newspaper. But, is what we hear true? Are the written facts true facts? Do the numbers ever add up? Are the candidates telling the truth? Do they know what the truth is? Are their promises going to come true? Why do propositions say vote yes for no? Why does black and white come in so many colors? I don't know! I think I'll vote for Harry. |
