"For me, ideas are like butterflies that are flittering around by the dozens.
I just grab one and render it, then move on to the next."

BIO

Born near San Diego, I grew up in California, never too far from the ocean. My high school years were spent in Michigan and then some college and a stint in the US Navy. I lived near Aspen, Colorado for a short time, before heading back to California, where I've stayed ever since.

Always interested in art, I started selling metal sculptures in Colorado and continued in California. Branching out to a line of pen & ink prints and had a line of "frog prints" selling in stores all over Southern California. After stating emphatically, that I could see no use for a personal computer, my 70 year old mother,
who was taking a couple of college courses in computers and journalism, gave me her first pc when she upgraded to new one.

I was dabbling with 2D digital work for a couple of years, then I discovered Bryce 3 in April 1999. That dabbling turned into an addiction. Now an idea takes a few hours to express "on canvas", where it might take a few days, when painting, or drawing. Since the computer came along, I 've lost touch with real brushes, pens and pencils which I regret.
